Can a class decide to eat only meat and no veggies and still expect to live? Is there a place for raw tanks, wild warriors, and pure physical damage to thrive in the world? The Marauder gives a clear “Yes!” to that question.

But for many people who play the Marauder for the first time, it feels more like a big “No!” Even though the Marauder focuses on strength and physical skills most of the time, that doesn’t mean he’s easy. In fact, this class seems to have more builds than almost any other in the game. Even a small mistake when building can turn the whole thing into a disaster. Here are some tips from Path of Exile experts that will help the Marauder reach his full potential.

Get A Minimum Amount Of Dexterity And Intelligence

Some parts of the game can be very frustrating. But, like a pill, the Marauder has to do what is right and get it out of the way before he can do anything fun. Before going all out or going for a certain build, you need to meet some good minimums.

You need at least 100 agility and 100 intelligence to use gear and gems, and that includes some that the Marauder can use. So experts say that you should get each of these additional stats up to 100. After that, all that’s left is strength.

Only One Guard Skill Gem Is Necessary

It’s good to have one guard skill gem, whether you’re going for a tank or DPS build. But you can only use one guard skill gem at a time, and they all have a cooldown, so choose your best and stick with it. Don’t spread the levels around.

If the Marauder’s best guard gem doesn’t drop by Act 3, you might want to learn how to trade to get it.When the right guard skill gem is in place, Maven’s questline is much easier to finish.

Health Is Not A Shield

Even if all they do is deal damage, the Marauder will have the most health of any class in the game without much work. But if the game was just about stacking raw strength, the process would be too easy, and Path of Exile would not be one of the best free games on the Steam Deck.

Use the stats of your gear to get your spell resistance up to 75%. In the passive skill tree, stack up health buffs. Experts say that after getting about 200% in health buffs, you shouldn’t go out of your way to take a skill that boosts health. A Marauder with full resistances and 3,000 health is much better than a Marauder with 10,000 health.

Stay Melee

Even though it might be tempting to use a bow to deal physical damage, the passive skills that make the bow better are on the opposite side of the screen from the passive skills that make physical damage better. A Warning About The Crit Build

People generally think that Witches, Rangers, and Shadows can do critical hits. That happens for a reason. These classes have a lot of built-in ways to make it easier to land critical hits, and agility and intelligence also make it easier to land a critical hit. Players can catch beasts with the help of critical hits.

Those who want to do a “crit build” with the Marauder must build their gear, passive skills, and gems in a way that stacks attack speed instead of the normal Marauder stats. This is a good build, but it will take more time to catch up to the other classes that are better at this by nature.

Try Area Of Effect Support Gems

Even though most area of effect support gems are tied to intelligence active skill gems, many will also help strength active skill gems. These are great for the Marauder, who should use Earthquakes, Sweeps, and other spells that affect the area around them.

The Duelist, the Shadow, and the Ranger are all good at dealing damage to a single target with their bodies.
