As Jio’s second laptop model, the JioBook (2023) is launched in India. The laptop features a plastic body and octa-core MediaTek MT 8788 processor. In addition to its JioBlue shade and embedded Jio SIM card, the JioBook 4G includes dual-band Wi-Fi and a mini HDMI port for connectivity. It is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that has been claimed to last up to 8 hours.

India’s JioBook (2023) price and availability

The JioBook (2023) is available in a sole Jio Blue color option and can be pre-ordered through Amazon, Reliance Digital’s e-commerce website, and leading retail stores for INR 16,499 in India. The laptop is scheduled to go on sale starting August 5. Reliance previously released its first JioBook, priced at INR 15,799.

The JioBook (2023) is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT8788 processor and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It runs on the Android-based JioOS operating system and features an 11.6-inch HD display with a resolution of 768X1,366 pixels and a plastic body with an inbuilt 4G SIM card. The device also comes with 64GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card, which represents a considerable improvement from the previous year’s model, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB eMMC storage.

Features related to connectivity

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, an HDMI mini port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity options available on the JioBook (2023). The laptop is equipped with dual stereo speakers and a 2-megapixel web camera. A 5,000mAh battery is capable of supplying up to eight hours of battery life. Additionally, the JioBook (2023) weighs just 990 grams, as opposed to the previous model, which weighed 1.2 kilograms.
