PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
A ret gel 0.1 tretinoin reduces the skin’s excessive oil production. A pinpoint application at night is ideal for the duration prescribed by your doctor. The dosage and duration of treatment will be determined by the condition being treated. Before applying a thin layer of this medicine, you should normally wash and dry the affected area. Follow your doctor’s advice. It should not be applied to damaged or broken skin, and it should be kept away from your mouth, eyes, and nose. It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve, but continue to use it on a regular basis to reap the most benefits. If you haven’t seen any improvement after a few weeks, see your doctor again.
Using a ret gel 0.025 medicine or applying it more frequently than recommended will not make it work faster and may worsen the side effects.
The most common side effects are skin irritation, dryness, and redness. They are typically mild and improve as your body adjusts to the medication. Drink plenty of water and apply moisturiser to avoid dry mouth, lips, and eyes. Inform your doctor if these side effects bother you or do not disappear. Serious side effects from this medication are uncommon.
Because this medication may make you more sensitive to sunlight, you should limit your sun exposure as much as possible. It could make your skin more brittle. During treatment, it is not recommended to have any waxing (hair removal) or laser treatments. Pregnant women or women who are planning to get pregnant should not use this medicine as it can lead to birth defects.

Mechanism and Drug Class
Tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative. this cream is used to treat mild to moderate acne as well as skin damage caused by excessive sun exposure. Tretinoin irritates the skin and causes skin cells to grow (divide) and die more quickly, thereby increasing cell turnover. The number of skin cell layers is actually reduced. New cells replace the cells of existing pimples in acne patients, and the rapid turnover of cells prevents new pimples from forming. Through a similar mechanism, tretinoin can reduce some wrinkles, darkened skin areas, and rough skin areas that occur in sun-damaged skin.Improvements in the skin of patients with sun-damaged skin are usually visible within the first 3 to 4 weeks of treatment. After six to eight weeks, brown spots begin to fade. After three to six months, wrinkles diminish or disappear. A small amount of the drug is absorbed into the body after application to the skin. In 1971, the FDA approved topical Tretinoin.
